Junior Strategic Communication Consultant Full time

Our client, a non government Consultancy company, is looking for a Junior Strategic Communication Consultant to join its team and work with clients across the MENA region

Your tasks

• You assist the managers in the development and delivery of the communication strategies and plans
• You produce high standard researches, analysis and briefings
• You manage the Media relations including pitches stories and journalists’ requests
• You draft messaging, talking points, press releases and written digital content
• You monitor print, broadcast, and social media for clients, identifying relevant articles, content & reports
• You are a support in the development of briefing materials and research relating to new business pitches

Your profile

• You possess “Bachelor’s and / or Masters degree” in Culture/History, Middle East/Africa Studies, International Politics Relations, Diplomacy, Economics, Islamic Studies etc.
• You have a previous experience (min 2 years) in Communications in a similar environment
• Background in government, public sector, communications agency, charity and think tanks is a strong asset
• Strong interest in Middle East and International Politics & Economy is a requirement
• You have strong analytical, research and writing skills but also communication and listening skills
• You are able to digest and organize information quickly and produce high quality content
• You have a good understanding of the media engagement
• You have an excellent command of Digital Media, Social Tools and Microsoft Office
• Ambitious, you are also resilient, humble and hunger to learn
• Resistant to stress and curious, you are able to develop solutions under difficult circumstances
